This line is engineered with spiral grooves allowing for quieter trimming when working in noise-restricted areas.

STIHL Quiet Line™ incorporates spiral grooves  in the design that greatly reduces trimming noise. The indentations in the surface of the line interrupt the otherwise uniform air stream, reducing the whistling effect. This trimmer line is recommended for use with corded-electric and battery-powered line trimmers, which operate much quieter than gasoline-powered models. Use this trimmer line when working on properties with noise restrictions.

  • Color-Coded - Nylon lines are color-coded to easily define the diameter of the cutting line. STIHL offers trimmer lines in all standard sizes including .065 (blue), .080 (light green), .095 (orange), .105 (red), and .160 (dark green) diameters.
