The STIHL iMOW® 5 robotic mower makes it possible to carry out lawn maintenance on your mid-sized home lawn completely automatically. The robotic mower is powered by a high-performance lithium-ion battery. This battery enables the robotic mower to work continuously for long periods. The high blade speed of its 3 freely oscillating Disc-Cut system blades ensures you enjoy a clean cut every time.

The robotic mower’s reliable performance efficiently tackles gradients of up to 40% when mowing on slopes . Capable of mowing lawn areas up to 1,500 m² in size, the STIHL iMOW® 5 also offers simultaneous mulching , meaning it shreds the grass clippings to turn them into an effective fertiliser  which it returns directly to the lawn. The mower’s ultrasonic sensors and situation-based speed adjustment ensure that obstacles are carefully approached and the grass can be cut close to objects. The self-driving lawn mower automatically changes direction when it comes into contact with an object. Intelligent turning manoeuvres support effective mowing in restricted spaces. When mowing on uneven ground, tilt sensors adjust the mower’s speed to facilitate a uniform result everywhere.

The control panel allows for easy operation via just a few pushbuttons. The intuitive controls are additionally supported by a voice output function. The rear LED strip indicates the current status of your robotic mower, while the front LED strip offers daytime running lights in 3 different modes. You can control your robotic mower at any time via Bluetooth® or Wi-Fi using the MY iMOW® app. You can also use the app to adjust the cutting height to different individual levels. The mowing plan can be used to specify weekly scheduled time slots during which your STIHL iMOW® 5 can activate automatically. If needed, you can also start your robotic mower manually. You can adjust the rain sensor so that your lawn is mowed even in wet weather, or to instruct the iMOW® 5 to pause when it starts to rain. The robotic mower uses its docking station as a base and for charging.

You will need the appropriate installation kit for your garden size in order to install it. The STIHL iMOW® robotic mower adheres to all current safety standards. However, the iMOW® robotic mower is not a toy, and children, spectators, and animals must be kept away from the work area when the iMOW® robotic mower is active.
