iMow 5 Evo

The STIHL iMOW® 5 EVO robotic mower provides fully automatic support with your lawn care  for medium-sized domestic lawns. Powered by a high-performance lithium-ion battery, the 3 freely oscillating Disc-Cut System blades move at high speed to achieve a clean cut and shorter active times than the STIHL iMOW® 5.

You can use the robotic mower for mowing on slopes  and for simultaneous mulching. In the mulching process, grass clippings are shredded to become fertiliser  for reuse by the lawn. The iMOW® 5 EVO robotic mower offers reliable performance to effectively maintain lawn areas up to 1,500 m² in size with gradients in the terrain of up to 45%. With the optional upgrade kit, your iMOW® can even deal with slope gradients of up to 55%.

The mower’s ultrasonic sensors and situation-based speed adjustment ensure that it approaches obstacles carefully, allowing it to mow close to them as well as enabling the STIHL iMOW® 5 EVO to automatically change direction when it makes contact with an object. Intelligent turning manoeuvres facilitate mowing in tight spaces. Tilt sensors adjust the speed on uneven ground.

The control panel allows for easy operation via just a few pushbuttons. The intuitive controls are additionally supported by a voice output function. The current status is displayed via the rear LED strip and by the LED matrix lighting pattern on the top. The front LED strip offers daytime running lights in 3 different modes. You can control your iMOW® 5 Evo robotic mower at any time via Bluetooth®, Wi-Fi or, if your robotic mower is outside the home area, via mobile communication using the MY iMOW® app.  You can also use the app to adjust the cutting height to different individual levels. The mowing plan can be used to specify weekly scheduled time slots during which your STIHL iMOW® 5 EVO can be automatically active. If needed, you can also start your robotic mower manually. If the robotic mower is detected being carried, it triggers an acoustic alarm signal, which is switched off automatically when the iMOW® is set down or after some time. The iMOW® automatically disables its control functions if it is removed from its previously defined home area. The rain sensor can be used to determine whether the mower should continue mowing or pause the mowing process in wet weather. The robotic mower uses its docking station as a base and for charging.

You will need the appropriate installation kit for your garden size in order to install it. The STIHL iMOW® robotic mower adheres to all current safety standards. However, the iMOW® robotic mower is not a toy, and children, spectators, and animals must be kept away from the work area when the iMOW® robotic mower is active.
