The change of brand will bring the VIKING product range to a global audience in the medium term. The aim is to combine our strengths to create a single brand, and to tap into the market potential outside Europe. VIKING has been a 100%-owned subsidiary of the STIHL Group since 1992.

From 2019, the STIHL Group will sell the entire product range of garden tool manufacturer VIKING under the STIHL brand. This changeover enables all sales and marketing activities to be merged under one brand.
The STIHL Group assures you that all conditions concerning warranty, spare parts, and service for VIKING products will remain in place even after the change of brand.
Spare parts for the VIKING brand will be available for at least 10 years from any STIHL dealer. The 10-year period commences from the final production date of the product.
VIKING accessories will be available for at least 3 years from any STIHL dealer. STIHL accessories are also compatible with VIKING power tools.
STIHL dealers remain your point of contact for warranty and guarantee claims. The manufacturer’s warranty will remain unchanged and valid.
The dealer from whom you bought your power tool will of course remain your main point of contact. You are also welcome to contact any STIHL dealer who has been selling the current VIKING products.
